Assistant Hospital Director, Veterinary Medicine

Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with department managers to develop staff schedules and assess departmental needs, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
- Client Focus: Work closely with hospital leaders to address challenges and ensure high-quality patient care, conducting routine quality checks and reviews of client records and invoices.
- Program Advancement: Drive continuous improvement in hospital programs, maximizing growth and revenue, working alongside the Hospital Director.
- Change Management: Facilitate positive transformations within the hospital, guiding teams through changes and new initiatives.
- Resourceful Support: Serve as a vital resource for all departments, providing information and assistance to enhance operations.
- Policy Innovation: Collaborate in the development and implementation of hospital policies, including monitoring compliance with DEA controlled substance regulations and OSHA standards.
- Tech Savvy Oversight: Monitor computer systems and equipment, collaborating with our IT team to swiftly resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless operations and minimal disruption.
- System Expertise: Stay up-to-date with all features and functionalities of Ezyvet and VetRadar, our hospital operating systems, to leverage their capabilities and optimize our workflows.
- Veterinary experience is ideal, other experience will be reviewed.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- 2 or more years with direct experience leading, managing, and mentoring individuals and large teams.
- 2 or more years' experience with PL management, providing oversight of labor and expenses.
- Highly proficient technology and computer skills and the ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex performance metrics and use data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to prioritize time with flexibility based on the needs of the hospital, potentially working varying hours to meet and observe hospital team and operations.
- Competitive salary range of $90k – $110k per year.
