About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our Emergency Department team at Garden State Veterinary Specialists. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team of licensed veterinary technicians, emergency doctors, and veterinary specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to doctors and technicians in the Emergency Department
  • Restrain patients for exams and procedures
  • Obtain and prepare samples for diagnostic testing
  • Monitor and document patient's vital signs
  • Assist with obtaining radiographs
  • Properly use and maintain hospital equipment

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of veterinary experience is required
