Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Advisor to join our team at Collin College. As an Academic Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting students in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement academic advising programs for students, including individual and group advising sessions.
  • Provide guidance on course selection, transfer requirements, and degree planning.
  • Assist students in navigating college resources, including academic support services and career counseling.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a seamless student experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on college policies, procedures, and degree requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • One year of full-time experience in student development/affairs, or two years of part-time experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
