Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Credit Risk Management to lead our Global Treasury & Financial Services (GTFS) team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing credit risk and supporting revenue growth while protecting the company from financial and business risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the process and methodology for the credit risk management lifecycle, ensuring credit risk is aligned with greater strategic needs in the company.
  • Ensure the team gathers and reviews appropriate internal and external information and/or reports to drive business insights and recommendations for peers and stakeholders to support risk-based revenue decisions.
  • Set best practices for developing risk profile scoring leveraged in credit decisioning, including assessment of machine learning parameters and monitoring.
  • Oversee strategies that proactively mitigate, or reactively address, potential adverse effects of macroeconomic and/or geopolitical risks.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 10+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft business, industry, and drivers of shareholder return.
  • Ability to conceptualize and design new approaches to how financial data is collected and evaluated to impact the broader organization and Microsoft's long-term goals.
