**Job Summary**

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill a per diem position in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a top healthcare facility and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Responsibilities**

  • Provide high-quality patient care to adult patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions.
  • Manage the care of patients in the SICU setting, including ensuring proper functioning of life support equipment and assisting in emergency nursing procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in SICU care.

**Requirements**

  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care SICU setting.
  • Current RN licensure and certification in ACLS and BLS.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
