Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Registered Nurse at Long Island Community Hospital, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze patient health data to inform treatment plans
  • Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify patient needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote continuity of care
  • Document patient progress and outcomes to inform future care
Requirements
  • Current New York State license or permit as a Registered Professional Nurse
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with patients and their families
  • Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written format
  • Analytical ability to assess and develop solutions to clinical situations
  • Ability to maintain knowledge and proficiency in the clinical area and age group served
