Per Diem Registered Nurse 2N/S Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our team at Long Island Community Hospital. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary health team to meet the holistic needs of our patients.
Responsibilities:- Collect patient health data by involving the patient, family, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform initial assessments based on patient data and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to implement interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Document patient responses to interventions and revise treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain knowledge and skills in the clinical area.
- Current New York State license or permit as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with patients and their families.
- Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written format.
- Analytical ability to assess and develop solutions to clinical situations or unit problems.
