About the Role

Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Co. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • General Cleaning: Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and tidy, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Trash Management: Empty trash receptacles and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
  • Supply Management: Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies, reporting when restocking is necessary.
  • Minor Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and replacing air filters.
  • Safety First: Follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals and equipment with care.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and deep cleaning tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of housekeeping experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to read and follow instructions on cleaning products and safety sheets.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to handle emergencies and perform snow removal when necessary.
  • Task Flexibility: Ability to tackle additional cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Work Environment

Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Co. is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As a Facilities Maintenance Associate, you will work in various plant areas with occasional noise and temperature variations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and hearing protection may be required. You will need to be prepared for varying temperatures and conditions.
