As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will join a dedicated security team responsible for safeguarding critical facilities and infrastructure, as well as public venues that require an enhanced security presence and asset protection services. This role is vital to the wide array of specialized security offerings that Inter-Con provides to its clients daily.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor designated posts (customer service counters, employee entrances, vehicle access points, guard houses, gates, construction sites, parking areas, perimeter zones, etc.)
  • Screen personnel and their belongings at pedestrian and vehicle entry points
  • Check seal controls on vehicles at entry points (apply and cut seals as necessary)
  • Verify identity badges for personnel clearance and screen vehicles
  • Operate X-ray equipment
  • Perform additional security-related tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Possess reliable transportation
  • Physically capable of fulfilling the assigned duties
  • Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

Education & Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Licensing, Permits & Certifications:

  • CA BSIS Guard Card is required
