Compensation: $22.00/hr

Schedule: Friday to Tuesday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols and ensure the overall security of the designated premises as outlined in specific Post Orders.
  • Address reasonable customer service inquiries related to security matters.
  • Operate under the guidance of the Site Supervisor, Field Manager, and Account Manager.
  • Exhibit consistent performance, attendance, professional appearance, and interaction while on duty.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and visitors.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and property damage.
  • Utilize two-way radios for communication with supervisors and fellow security personnel.
  • Oversee a specific building and/or patrol area.
  • Provide a visible security presence throughout the client’s property.
  • Act as a first responder in all emergencies occurring within the building.

Essential Skills:
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Document briefing topics and maintain necessary records and logs.
  • Prepare and submit Daily Activity Reports (DAR), Incident/Accident Reports, and Hazard/Condition Reports.
  • Capable of interpreting, writing, understanding, and executing written orders, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure all required equipment for tasks is accounted for and functioning properly.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, monitor radio communications, and dispatch emergency and routine assignments as needed.
  • Respond appropriately to both routine and emergency requests.
  • Conduct active patrols of the building and surrounding property.
  • Provide information to tenants, clients, visitors, and guests while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old; High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Proficient in interpreting, writing, understanding, and executing written orders and policies.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with all company departments.
  • Must qualify for a California Guard Card.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and proactive approach.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
