Role Responsibilities:

As a Senior Farm Market Associate, you will embody our Mission of Love by engaging in all facets of retail operations within the Farm Market, including various orchard-related activities such as fruit and produce preparation, while also supervising and mentoring Farm Market Assistants.

Your Key Duties Include:

  • Exhibiting advanced expertise in fresh produce, merchandising, and retail sales strategies to achieve optimal production and sales outcomes.
  • Maintaining and documenting daily cash transactions, assisting with cash deposits and records.
  • Interacting positively with customers to facilitate sales and encourage repeat business.
  • Demonstrating leadership capabilities and assuming the role of retail Manager on duty as needed.
  • Coordinating the training and oversight of retail staff, addressing grievances, and fostering positive interdepartmental relationships.
  • Understanding all daily operations of the Farm Market, including product ordering, inventory management, and cafe operations.
  • Assisting in the development and achievement of departmental financial sales objectives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail sales experience preferred.
  • Basic math and monetary handling skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and basic computer skills.
