Job Description:

This role involves overseeing sales activities in the assigned mountain region, ensuring alignment with corporate and branch objectives. Key responsibilities include developing strategic national sales plans, applying direct marketing practices to achieve stated goals, managing staffing, training, and performance evaluations for sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategic national sales plans to align with corporate and branch goals
  • Applying advanced knowledge of direct marketing practices to ensure sales executives focus on achieving their targets
  • Managing staffing, training, and performance evaluations for sales teams
  • Establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals for sales teams
  • Reviewing LOIs and quotes, representing the company at trade association meetings, and maintaining relationships with key clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business
  • 5-10 years' experience managing a sales team in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Building Products industry
  • Demonstrated leadership, motivational, coaching, and influencing skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
