Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team and drive patient care excellence. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff by implementing and maintaining effective safety protocols.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, enhance pharmacy services, and promote professional growth among team members.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve pharmacy operations, patient care, and staff performance to ensure excellence in all aspects.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients, staff, and customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Personnel Management: Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.
  • Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels, manage supply chains, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Financial Profitability: Analyze and improve financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth and cost savings.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement measures to prevent losses, protect assets, and maintain a secure environment.
  • Workflow Management: Streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity to meet business objectives.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Possess a valid pharmacy license in the state where employed.
  • Not on DEA Excluded Parties List: Ensure compliance with DEA regulations and not be listed on the excluded parties list.
  • Immunization Certification: Hold current immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Pharmacist in Charge: Be listed as the pharmacist in charge on the pharmacy state license.
  • PMP Registration: Submit required information to register for PMP access in states with active PMP for pharmacist use.
  • Education: Possess a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
