We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including counseling and education on medication use and health-related topics.
- Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care and optimal health outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and guidelines, applying evidence-based practices to improve patient care and safety.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
- Experience in a retail pharmacy setting, with a focus on patient care and clinical services.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology, including electronic health records and medication management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
