The Anderson School is seeking a dedicated string instrument educator who is enthusiastic about nurturing the musical talents of young learners, starting from the age of three. This role involves teaching during established hours on select weekdays, with the possibility of expanding to weekend sessions based on demand.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate possesses a degree in music, focusing on violin performance or pedagogy, along with a minimum of two years of instructional experience. We are open to considering current music students who demonstrate a strong grasp of the instrument.
Responsibilities:
The selected individual will be responsible for fostering a love for music among students of all ages, from young children to adults. It is essential that our educators inspire a lifelong appreciation for music in their pupils.
Location:
All lessons will be conducted in person at our designated location. Reliability and consistent attendance are crucial for this role.
Compensation:
The starting rate for candidates with a music degree or equivalent experience is $45 per hour, with opportunities for performance-based salary increases following a review period.
Availability:
Lessons are scheduled during the following times:
- Weekdays: Specific afternoon hours
- Weekends: Designated hours
