The Rhode Island Parent Information Network (RIPIN) is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will provide expertise and support to Community Health Workers, helping low-income older adults and individuals with disabilities live safely and independently at home.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized support to clients and Community Health Workers, ensuring services are relevant, coordinated, and of high quality.
- Cultivate and map resources in Rhode Island to support low-income older adults or disabled adults, connecting them with the resources needed to live safely and independently at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of case records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with RIPIN standards.
- Collaborate with program leadership to identify training needs and develop workshops to support RIPIN clients and partners.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success and quality of the agency.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Social Work or relevant educational experience.
- Experience navigating systems of care in RI, supporting low-income older adults or disabled adults to live safely and independently at home.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of RIPIN's programs, mission, and vision, with experience working with and outreaching to diverse populations.
