Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders and quotes through various communication channels including phone, fax, and email.
  • Verify order details for precision, cross-checking with serial numbers, and input orders into the WP system.
  • Provide quotes for overhauls and spare parts as necessary.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Log stock orders into the system.
  • Assist in the maintenance of files, records, and customer data.
  • Be available for on-call duties after a designated period of employment.
  • Handle urgent orders from suppliers and update customer orders accordingly.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A background in mechanics or related knowledge is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to achieve goals and objectives established by the organization.
  • Capacity to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, particularly in a Windows environment.
  • Dependability and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Competence in operating various office equipment, including fax machines, scanners, printers, and copiers.
  • Ability to operate a forklift effectively.
