Job Title: Retail Lead

At Goodwill Industries, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Lead to join our team. As a Retail Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service and that our store is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train store staff to ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory, including receiving and processing shipments, and ensuring that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and improve store performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum three months of retail management experience, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving sales growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register and point-of-sale system.
  • Valid driver's license and insured vehicle required.
