Job Summary:
HealthAlliance Hospital, part of WMCHealth, is seeking a Nephrologist to join our thriving multiple physician Nephrology group in the Hudson Valley. The Division of Nephrology is committed to providing exceptional patient care and is looking for a skilled Nephrologist to contribute to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in outpatient general nephrology and outpatient dialysis unit rounds
- Participate in inpatient consultation at HealthAlliance Hospital and contribute to the development and expansion of the home dialysis program
- Collaborate with the Hospitalist service to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in medical directorship opportunities and contribute to the growth and development of the Nephrology department
- Engage in teaching and academic activities, including opportunities for medical directorship and academic appointment at New York Medical College
Requirements:
- MD (or equivalent) degree and board certification/board eligibility in Nephrology by the date of hire
- Qualified to obtain a New York State license
