Position Overview
The Employee Health Services Team at Northwell Health is seeking a dedicated Practical Nursing Specialist. This role is essential in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, under the guidance of a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional nursing care to patients as directed by the physician.
  • Administer medications and meticulously document their therapeutic effects.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions throughout their treatment journey.
  • Perform assigned back office duties and efficiently rotate as a telephone triage nurse.
  • Adhere to Practice policies and procedures while executing all duties.
  • Engage in related responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited practical nursing program or a Nursing Vocational/Technical school. A current license to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State is required, along with any specialized certifications as necessary.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $44,450 - $69,340 per year. This range represents a good faith estimate of potential base compensation for successful candidates. Factors such as location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity may influence the final salary offer.
