About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of critical care-related surgical patients, trauma, and neurological patients. You will work closely with the clinical team to provide comprehensive nursing care and services.

Responsibilities
  • You will manage personnel in the accomplishment of designated goals and the provision of nursing care and services.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies in staffing and supply management decisions.
  • Instruct and educate patients and their family members on various aspects of care.
  • Administer all prescribed medications utilizing the 5 rights to medication administration, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or has a Compact license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
