Position Overview

The Highland River Group - Ashley Furniture is seeking dedicated warehouse associates to become integral parts of our dynamic team.

Flexible Schedule: This part-time role involves working half days, specifically from Tuesday to Saturday, with hours from 8 AM to 1 PM.

As a Furniture Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in the final stages of our sales process, ensuring that furniture is prepared for our valued customers. Your contributions will be essential to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently load and unload shipments
  • Assemble and prepare furniture for customer delivery
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while also being capable of working independently
  • Provide exceptional customer service and adhere to warehouse protocols to foster lasting customer relationships
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving abilities without direct supervision

Qualifications for Success:

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to have fun at work
  • Reliability and commitment to punctuality
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Physical capability to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift, and transport items
  • Previous experience in carpentry or home maintenance is advantageous
