Position Overview

The Highland River Group - Ashley Furniture is seeking dedicated individuals to become integral members of our warehouse operations.

Flexible Schedule: This part-time role involves working half days, Tuesday through Saturday, from 8 AM to 1 PM.

As a Furniture Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders in excellent condition. Your contributions are essential to the final stages of the sales process, as you prepare furniture for delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently load and unload freight
  • Assemble and prepare furniture for delivery
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently
  • Provide outstanding customer service while adhering to warehouse protocols
  • Demonstrate problem-solving abilities without direct supervision

Qualifications for Success:

  • A positive attitude and the ability to enjoy your work
  • Reliability and commitment to maintaining a consistent schedule
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary
  • Physical capability to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift, and carry items
  • Previous experience in carpentry or home maintenance is advantageous
