Job Opportunity

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Mount Vernon, Skagit County. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment and treatment plans, and lead groups.
  • Assist the Program Manager in program development, policy and procedure development, compliance with WACs and RCWs, and other administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with CDMHP's, inpatient facilities, and ensure proper protocols are followed for hospitalization authorization and during discharge planning.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work.
  • Four or more years of clinical experience in the field.
  • Active, approved license from the Washington State Department of Health.
  • Meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
