Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a leading provider of comprehensive health services, is seeking a highly skilled Child and Family Therapist to join our team. As a licensed mental health professional, you will play a vital role in providing individual and family therapy, case management, crisis stabilization, and treatment planning to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based models and wrap-around services to address mental health issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, schools, and community partners to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and community stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise and provide high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Social Worker (LICSW or LASW).
  • Child Mental Health Specialist credential or working towards credential.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Computer proficiency with Cerner and MS Office, as well as other medical software.
