We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to contribute to our clinical operations.

This role is vital for ensuring the smooth functioning of our practice and enhancing the patient experience.


Key Responsibilities:


Utilize your skills as a Medical Assistant to support the clinical team effectively.

Your attention to detail will be crucial in managing various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of the practice.


Specific duties include:

  • Arriving on time for scheduled sessions and collaborating with team members to maintain clinic operations.
  • Verifying patient information through interviews and accurately documenting medical histories, medications, and allergies.
  • Preparing patients for examinations by coordinating preliminary tests and interacting with other departments to facilitate patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records while ensuring patient confidentiality and dignity.
  • Assisting in medical procedures, including the preparation of injectable medications and the application of casts and splints.
  • Instructing patients and their families on post-care for casts, splints, or braces.
  • Managing orthopedic supplies and ensuring cleanliness in clinical areas.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of office procedures and computer systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic computer applications.
  • Prior experience in orthopedic settings is preferred.


Certification:
Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred. Candidates with relevant training from accredited programs or experience in related fields will also be considered.
