Position Summary:We are seeking a Technical Project Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing technology implementations while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and execute technical implementation projects for clients.
- Upgrade, configure, install, and maintain networks and servers.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in system engineering or IT support, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
Technical Skills:- Proficient in Microsoft system administration, including Active Directory and server management.
- Strong experience with email systems, particularly Microsoft-based.
- Solid understanding of computer networking principles and security protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud services, especially Microsoft 365, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with RMM software and cloud migration.
- Proven track record in implementing Microsoft Azure and Office365 solutions tailored to client needs.
- Expertise in server and storage solutions from recognized partners.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V.
- Understanding of emerging technologies like hyper-convergence and SD-WANs.
- Experience with firewalls and switches from leading brands.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor for client interactions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
This position involves a hybrid work model, with a significant portion of the week dedicated to managing multiple projects remotely. You will also spend time addressing ticket escalations, which typically require on-site presence.
Physical Requirements:The role is primarily sedentary but may require occasional lifting and movement. Frequent travel may be necessary, along with exposure to various environmental conditions.
