About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences and creating a positive shopping environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and proactively approach them to understand their needs and provide support throughout their shopping experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services to effectively assist customers with their purchases.
  • Register Coverage: Provide register coverage as needed and ensure strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers with complex transactions.
  • Team Support: Assist management with department scheduling, directing workflow, and monitoring department presentation standards.
  • Merchandising and Presentation: Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, and inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
  • Training and Development: Promote and provide training to new and current teammates on company programs, including customer loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
  • Confidentiality and Safety: Maintain confidentiality of all company information and adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
  • Team Environment: Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking and perform repetitive motions for short periods.
