Radiologic Imaging Specialist
to become a valued member of our team.
We are in search of a certified Radiologic Imaging Specialist who demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and exceptional customer service while engaging with patients, visitors, and colleagues. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, your responsibilities will include administering x-rays and radioactive materials to patients. You will operate imaging equipment, develop radiographic films, and prepare patient areas, equipment, supplies, and medications. Your role will also involve providing patient services utilizing various imaging modalities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare examination rooms, equipment, medications, and materials as required for patient procedures.
2. Clean and disinfect imaging rooms and equipment to maintain a safe environment.
3. Prepare barium and other chemical mixtures for imaging procedures.
4. Prepare patients for imaging, explaining procedures, transferring them to the examination table, positioning them appropriately, and assisting them post-procedure.
5. Follow established protocols for administering general and specific imaging studies, adjusting equipment settings as necessary.
6. Arrange support devices to ensure proper patient positioning and select appropriate imaging films.
7. Conduct imaging for all incoming patients while monitoring their condition and reporting any unusual occurrences.
8. Maintain inventory of supplies and perform general administrative tasks, including report drafting.
9. Assist the lead technologist in upholding radiographic technique standards.
10. Transport patients as needed, adhering to infection control protocols.
11. Efficiently operate mobile imaging units in various settings.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Valid Maryland State License.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
This position offers a competitive salary within the range of $48.99 per hour.
