As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including images and test results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per-diem setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
