As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate and precise results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images and reports.
- Current state license as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
