River's Shore Comprehensive Treatment Center is seeking a skilled Physician to join our team as a Substance Misuse Specialist. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients struggling with substance misuse.
Responsibilities:- Prescribe, dispense, and administer medication for the treatment of substance misuse in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Conduct complete physicals, provide treatment, and counsel patients to ensure their medical stability and eligibility for our program.
- Provide medical oversight to the nursing department and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF standards, and clinic policy and procedure.
- Develop and implement individual care plans, documenting services and information in a timely manner, maintaining appropriate confidential documentation, compliance, and billing.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and education.
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited college or university.
- Current license to practice medicine by the state in which the clinic operates.
- Board certification or certificate of admissibility for board certification preferred.
- Current DEA credentials required to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
