Position Overview:

This executive role is pivotal in steering the Distribution Design and Reliability divisions within the Utility Operations Engineering Services sector. The selected individual will set and oversee organizational objectives, policies, and budgets while managing resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership in Distribution Engineering:
    • Accountable for the performance and outcomes of the engineering services team.

    • Oversee complex engineering analyses related to distribution design and reliability.

  • Financial Oversight:
    • Lead capital portfolio development and management.
    • Conduct monthly budget performance reviews to identify variances.

  • Effective Communication:

    • Support a culture of self-development within the team.
    • Facilitate communication between workgroups through regular updates.
  • Performance Management:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; an advanced degree is advantageous.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred.
  • Proven management and leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated through progressive roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical utility systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Exceptional leadership and relationship management skills.
