Senior Vice President of Operations

Emerald Resource Group is seeking a seasoned leader to drive operational excellence across multiple retail locations. As the Director & Head of Retail Operations, you will have the opportunity to shape the operations of a well-established company with a legacy of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality performance across all retail locations, implementing policies that drive efficiency and growth.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company's long-term goals.
- Team Development & Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing operations team, promoting a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to meet and exceed business objectives while ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Customer Focus: Ensure customer satisfaction is a top priority, continuously improving the customer experience through innovative service delivery.
- Core Values Integration: Uphold and promote the company's core values, building local relationships and maintaining a forward-thinking approach to business challenges.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Experienced Leader: 7+ years in an executive or senior management role, preferably in retail operations.
- Retail Operations Expertise: A deep understanding of retail operations, with a preference for experience in the hardware sector.
- Strong Financial Acumen: Proven experience managing complex budgets with strong financial oversight capabilities.
- Strategic Thinker: Exceptional strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; an MBA or related master's degree is preferred.
