Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver language support services, encompassing transcription and translation/interpretation for military interrogations, intelligence gathering, and operational tasks.
  • Provide cultural and ethnic insights in translations and interpretations, offering expert analysis on terminology and phrases.
  • Engage in document analysis, research foreign language materials, and extract significant information.
  • Native proficiency in the target language is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess US Citizenship.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in interpretation and translation is required.
  • ILR level 3 proficiency in both the Target Language and English.
  • Experience in document analysis and a solid understanding of geo-political contexts.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Proficient in idiomatic expressions and colloquial language.
  • Capable of accurate interpretation and translation across diverse scenarios.
  • Provide cultural and ethnic context in all translations and interpretations.
  • Security Requirements:
  • Must hold an active TOP SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
  • Must pass a polygraph examination and CI Focus Interview.
  • Citizenship is mandatory.
