Job Summary:

MaineGeneral Health is seeking skilled Radiology Technologists II with a specialization in X-ray and CAT Scan to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, administering contrast media and medications, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of exam findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice
  • Continually monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
  • Prepare, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions as necessary
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Radiological Technology School/Program; an associate's degree is preferred
  • State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required within 8 weeks after hire
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred
