Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Virtua Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with approved techniques and NRC/ACR standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine studies according to protocols established by the radiologist.
- Administer radioisotopes and perform venipuncture.
- Conduct routine calibration on equipment and maintain quality control tests.
- Ensure safety precautions are followed when handling radiopharmaceuticals.
- Prepare kits according to manufacturer inserts and use aseptic technique.
- Respond to changes in the work schedule and cover all shifts on a rotational basis.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Current N.J. license in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Registered by the ARRT and/or certified by the NMTCB preferred.
