Position Overview:
As a Lead Avionics Electrical Technician, you will oversee and manage all electrical and avionics operations, ensuring seamless communication with clients regarding aircraft schedules, repairs, and parts logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate electrical and avionics tasks to align with aircraft schedules.
  • Provide daily updates to management regarding project status and progress.
  • Supervise and mentor electrical technicians, offering technical guidance on troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all activities and inspections.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols within the hangar environment.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, with a minimum of two years of experience in large or mid-size aircraft. A total of eight years in the avionics or electrical field is required, or two years of accredited education in aviation electronics combined with six years of relevant experience. An FAA A&P license or the ability to secure a repairman certificate within 30 days is necessary. Preferred qualifications include an FCC license or NCATT certification.

Additional Skills:
Successful candidates will demonstrate a thorough understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance protocols, with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in standard computer applications. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in confined spaces.
