Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Professional Water Treatment Solutions Engineer to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance in the sizing, specification, procurement, fabrication, installation, and operation of project-related equipment and designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance in the completion of engineering and hydraulic calculations under the guidance of an experienced Project Engineer.
  • Back-checking of drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, Equipment and Facility Arrangements) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Validating that all engineering designs, bills of materials, drawings, and technical data are documented and consistent by reviewing associated engineering documentation.
  • Participate in project process and mechanical design review meetings to contribute to the success of the project.
  • Assist with project issue resolution related to design, construction, and start-up, collaborating with the extended project team as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE OR ENGINEERING DEGREE IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, OR OTHER RELATED TECHNICAL DISCIPLINE.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team and department projects.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment.
  • Good technical writing and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with co-workers.
