About the Role

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is a global leader in water recovery, treatment, and reuse. We design, supply, and operate a range of water systems, from food and beverage applications to municipal water, microelectronics ultrapure water, and heavy industrial wastewater treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, maintain, and improve all aspects of Veolia's environmental program, including site compliance, health and safety program development, and regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local requirements.
  • Provide environmental, health, and safety support to the company, maintaining policies that adhere to local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
Expected Outcomes
  • Utilize expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals.
  • Lead and manage various EHS requirements and compliance implementation, including regulations, air permitting, wastewater permitting and treatment, and hazardous waste.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A strong health and safety background.
  • Skilled coaching and communication of EHS requirements to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to partner and influence across functional teams.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis methods (Apollo, FMEA, Bow-tie, Fishbone, Tap Root, etc.).
  • Demonstrated EHS risk recognition and auditing skills.
Core Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience with exposure to several EHS areas in a manufacturing environment.
