Job Description:

Pathstone is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Client Advisory Team. As an Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of individual Client Teams, including completing account applications, preparing fund subscription documents, and assisting in the development of client presentation materials.

You will also collaborate with client teams to process money movements and execute trades within accounts, while following the process through in tandem with the firm's Capital Markets Group. Associates manage task flow and record keeping inside our firms' CRM, ensuring accurate and timely execution.

Through the evolution of an Associate's CareerPath, there will be opportunities for further professional development through internal programs at the firm and by studying for a professional certification (CFP, CFA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Client Advisory Teams in all manners of client service and daily operations
  • Complete account applications, prepare fund subscription documents, and assist in the development of client presentation materials
  • Collaborate with client teams to process money movements and execute trades within accounts
  • Manage task flow and record keeping inside our firms' CRM

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in the financial management industry, specifically Client Operations and Administration, and past full-time office experience is a plus, but not required for recent graduates
  • Basic understanding of investments including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternative investments is preferred
  • Solid analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and client service skills
  • Detail-oriented and ability to handle time-sensitive issues
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly Excel
  • A positive attitude and initiative in all aspects of the position
  • The ability to prioritize tasks in the face of competing demands
  • Engaged in learning and growing, and motivated to take on new challenges
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
