The Children's Village is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Youth Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our inter-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic, nurturing, and structured programming to emotionally, psychiatrically, and/or behaviorally challenged youth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote positive changes in youth behavior and well-being.
- Provide direct care and support to youth, including daily living skills, education, and recreational activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and supervision to maintain high standards of practice.
- Model professional behavior and serve as a positive role model for youth.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, education) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with high school-aged youth in residential or related settings.
- Valid New York State driver's license.
- Bi-lingual Spanish language skills a plus.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
