The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles, preferably in a large enterprise environment. They will possess intermediate-level proficiency in industry-standard and best-practice data governance and data management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expertise to support operationalizing data governance strategy and policy across the Mastercard data ecosystem. They will guide the development and documentation of standards and procedures, work instructions, processes, and playbooks. Additionally, they will support and facilitate adherence and monitoring activities such as assessments, documentation, remediation planning, measuring, and monitoring for data governance strategy, data domains, data risk, and internal audit.
The Data Management Professional will also be responsible for supporting the development and adoption of the data governance stewardship model. They will support the development and adoption of data governance stewardship roles and responsibilities. Furthermore, they will support the identification and assignment of business, technical, and services-related roles required for stewardship representation.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data issues and develop practical solutions. They will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with and facilitate activities across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise to support operationalizing data governance strategy and policy across the Mastercard data ecosystem

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles, preferably in a large enterprise environment
