Job Title: Weekend Assembler- 1st Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Weekend Assembler- 1st Shift to join our team at Byrne Electrical Specialists. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting electrical components, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all ISO procedures and company policies.
  • Read and process prints and sheets, performing first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks.
  • Identify and properly tag rejected parts, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Assist with the training of new employees and follow all company procedures.
  • Demonstrate ability to work successfully in a team-based environment, emphasizing quality, performance, cross-training, and accountability.
  • Consistently satisfy or exceed productivity requirements, performing inspection processes and completing related production paperwork.
  • Set up equipment or machines and perform simple adjustments and minor setup of some dies.
  • Work Saturday mornings, with flexibility for 8 hours through the rest of the week, max 16 hours a week.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate small hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Read, learn, and follow training, adhering precisely to written procedures.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to follow detailed instructions, inspection procedures, and product appearance.
  • Will work from engineering drawings and/or specifications.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged standing and walking, some lifting (not to exceed 50 lbs.), and daily computer work. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
