Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Habitat for Humanity. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of homes, providing training and guidance to volunteers and staff, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the construction of homes, including planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Provide hands-on training and guidance to volunteers and staff on construction techniques and best practices
  • Ensure that all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Coordinate with volunteers, staff, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel
  • Collaborate with the construction team to plan and execute construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential construction, with a focus on site management and supervision
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and guide volunteers and staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • CPR/First aid certification and Habitat Competent Person Training
