Position Summary:
The Client Relationship Financial Consultant plays a crucial role in nurturing existing client partnerships, delivering financial advice, and initially working under the guidance of experienced mentors before taking on independent responsibilities as the main point of contact for clients. This position involves close collaboration with Client Service Administrators to ensure a consistently high-quality client experience. The emphasis is on managing client relationships rather than pursuing new business development. The role typically requires a commitment of 40 hours per week during standard business hours, with options for remote work and occasional evening meetings to accommodate client schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular communication with assigned clients to provide ongoing financial advice
- Develop specialized knowledge within the firm and specific practice areas
- Prepare and implement financial planning recommendations
- Engage in client meetings
- Collaborate with colleagues across various service lines to enhance client service
- Accurately input data into financial planning software
- Execute financial strategies
- Monitor and revise financial plans as necessary
- Document detailed notes during client interactions
- Coordinate follow-ups with Client Service Administrators
- Network to broaden professional connections
- Act as a support for Lead Financial Advisors
- Uphold client confidentiality
- Perform additional tasks as required
- Adapt to flexible scheduling, including evening meetings and travel as needed
- Possess a solid background in financial services or a related field
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Series 65 License (or equivalent)
- Life & Health Insurance License to be obtained within 30 days of employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a quick aptitude for learning new software
- Strong interpersonal, time management, written communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to relocate to the designated area
Preferred Qualifications:
- CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP) training or certification
- 3 years of experience in finance or 5 years in customer service/social sectors
- Familiarity with MoneyGuidePro, Salesforce, or similar tools
Potential Career Advancement:
- Certification in CFP or CPWA
- Specialized training or certification opportunities
- Promotion to Lead Financial Advisor after a minimum of 3 years in the Client Relationship Financial Consultant role
