Medical Laboratory Specialist

As a Medical Technologist, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing world-class patient care and advancing medical research and surgery.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and interpret tests at all complexity levels
- Correlate abnormal laboratory data with pathological states
- Determine the validity of test results and the need for additional tests through monitoring and/or verifying quality controls, standards, etc.
- Communicate test results, reference ranges, specimen requirements and other pertinent information to authorized sources
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from a four-year college or university
- Meets the CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel grandfathering clauses
- Diploma and/or transcripts must be provided
- Education will be verified
- Previous experience
- Certifications: Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or certification eligible preferred, from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT)
