About the Role

The Director of HR will lead the HR function through a pivotal time, partnering with the executive team to transform the organization and adapt to the rapidly evolving healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR strategy, analysis, optimization, and comprehensive HR function oversight.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, foster a positive and productive culture, and provide vital insights.
  • Align HR to organizational objectives, promote an inclusive and engaging work environment, and lead initiatives in recruiting, employee relations, benefits management, employee development, compensation, compliance, and HRIS tools and applications.


The First Six Months

  • Get to know leaders across the organization, build relationships, observe what we do and how we do it, and develop a deep understanding of our mission, strategic goals, and transformation initiatives.
  • Learn how our people, systems, and HR strategies enable us to support our mission and vision and immerse yourself in the culture.
  • Engage with portfolio company leaders, build credibility, and cultivate connections as a trusted consultant, function leader, and executive teammate.
  • Learn the as-is state, identify optimization opportunities, and develop a strategic plan to advance the HR function with the organization.
  • Nurture relationships with vendor partners, the Resource Cabinet, for HR workstreams.
  • Jump in on existing initiatives including the ERP transition, organizational restructuring, and compensation strategy execution.

  • Strategic HR leader with proven experience aligning HR to business goals and organizational objectives.
  • Skilled at building coalitions and engaging partners to deliver services and achieve targeted outcomes.
  • Comfortable assessing and using data to evaluate results, support decisions, and drive improvements.
  • Adaptable, open to different perspectives, and willing to jump in to advance initiatives, achieve objectives, and deliver results.
  • Able to build credibility, effectively influence others, and be a trusted HR expert and cultural ambassador across our portfolio companies to deploy best practices and drive effective strategy.
