Job Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily functions of our warehouse. In this position, you will ensure precision in daily tasks, guide and enhance the performance of the warehouse team, and strive for continuous improvement in workflows and procedures. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, commencing at 6 AM each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 20-30 associates.
  • Train and evaluate all delivery and warehouse personnel according to established policies and training guidelines.
  • Guarantee the accuracy of all outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain direct communication with delivery, warehouse, and labor sources.
  • Oversee the return product process.
  • Manage the receipt of containers.
  • Uphold all company and safety regulations.
  • Direct team members in re-labeling, rewrapping, and relocating products.
  • Monitor personnel performance and compliance with policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, and Human Resources departments.
  • Take responsibility for all tools, equipment, trucks, and the facility.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Propose recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and other departments, presenting information clearly in both one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Proficient in understanding spreadsheets, budgets, and essential reporting data.
  • The role requires regular walking, using hands for handling or feeling, reaching with hands and arms, and effective verbal communication. Frequent standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and sitting are also necessary. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
