Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HR Payroll Operations Manager to join our team at Rchling Medical Rochester. This role will be responsible for overseeing the processing of weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain employee records, including voluntary deductions, direct deposits, W2s/W4s, and tax form information.
  • Verify payroll data and ensure all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete.
  • Coordinate changes in payroll, such as terminations and new hires.
  • Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks.
  • Update salary or wage adjustments and process other financial compensation or deductions.
  • Handle benefit expenses, including insurance fees and paid leave.
  • Produce reports for management upon request.
  • Work with authorities on audits and requests.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries from internal and external staff.
  • Assist with completing wage verification requests and payroll information subpoenas.
  • E nsure full compliance with confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ad hoc or special payroll initiatives, as needed.
  • Provide HR guidance to line management when appropriate.
  • Analyze trends and metrics with the HR group to develop solutions.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Conduct thorough investigations.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management.
  • Partner with the legal department as needed.
  • Provide performance management guidance to line management.
  • Improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Contribute to business restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Knowledge of Paycor or similar time and attendance systems.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting or human resources.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
